• CHORUS If you are onstage for the top of the show, please be mindful that you are not in view of the audience when the curtain is paged (opened) for Roberta/ Brass stands.
  • GUEN and ELEANORE Please step closer to the floor mics for your verse in “Nova Nova”
  • BETHANY and LILA Talk to Roberta about the entrance of the queen and king, which has changed slightly.
  • BETHANY and LILA When Guinevere returns to the thrones holding the Green Knight’s holly, She will give the holly to one of you. We would like you both to have a moment where you reach out to her to make sure she’s okay.
  • MAUREEN, ALAN, CLAUDIA, DOUG Please take a step down after the first note of “Alle psallite” so the crowd doesn’t rejoin you.
  • CHORUS Leave some space between the larger group and Maureen, Alan, Claudia, and Doug in Alle psallite.
  • TEENS We know you’re all handling a lot, please check all of your props at the top of show and beginning of Act Two to make sure everything is where you need it to be!
  • LILA and SASHA In L’homme armé, Lila should give Gawain his shield, and Sasha should give him his sword. Can you try swapping places so Lila is on his right?
  • BILL Roberta didn’t hear the triangle during Abbott’s Bromley, you can hit it harder!
  • CHORUS The bell players for “Saint Nicholas Godes Druth” can take a strong step downstage and begin playing immediately following Conditor.
  • CHORUS Everyone please exit Stage Right following Conditor. If you need to get a prop SL, please exit before Conditor.
  • BOWMEN Please come talk to Julia about bringing on lanterns
  • MEN Get onstage as quickly as possible to begin The Hunt Is Up (Part One). You can ask props people to hand you your weapons to make this entrance faster. If you’re entering over the hill, you can store your props under the brass platform, but please let the women exit over the hill
before you go to get your weapons.
  • PORTERS Please make sure you always close the doors behind you as you exit through them to go hunting. Whoever is last to exit should be responsible for this.
  • CHORUS If you need to make a late entrance during a slow song, match the tempo and tone of the song rather than rushing on.
  • WOMEN We loved the entrance of the quartet and the Day 2 singers. Women entering behind them can do gestural speech as if you’re chatting when you sit down (we don’t need to hear actual talking at this point, but it can look like you’re talking).
  • CHORUS Can we get a big “Hurrah!” following Arthur’s line “To hunt the savage BOAR!” Some of the men can yell “BOAR!”
  • CHORUS Third verse soloists SL during Boar’s Head, please form more of a clump rather than a line!
  • MEN Please bring your weapons for Day 3 with you to sing Boar’s Head.
  • CHORUS In Sussex Mummers, you should stretch out as far as possible into the house. If you can’t lift your arms up, you’re too close together!
